The MET Gala, most expected moment in international fashion, is an annual fundraising event for the benefit of the Costume Institute Exhibition of the Museum.

This year’s theme, for both the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual Costume Institute exhibition and 2017 MET Gala, was Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons, in the honour of the Japanese designer.
